'At home' Counselling Guide

Many people find the idea of having to travel to a therapy centre in order to meet with the counsellor a daunting prospect. You may have concerns about privacy, wishing to be in control of who is aware of the counselling and this may not always be easy if you are spotted entering or leaving the premises.

After an anxious drive to an appointment in unfamiliar surroundings it can be difficult to have flow of thought. If the session has given you much to think about then the drive home can be a real ordeal and these are some of the reasons why we offer counselling at home.

1. Counselling Sessions

Each session lasts up to 50 minutes which is booked in advance

We accept advance bookings of up to six sessions at any one time. We believe that counselling is only effective if reviewed regularly, typically we assess progress at 6 weekly intervals.

2. Registration

In order to book a Counselling Session you need to register with us, it is a legal requirement to state your age and location before we can accept an appointment and we ask you to give brief details of the subject so we are able to prepare. Please complete the registration form here.

3. Booking a Counselling Session

Once you have registered please book a session by phoning or emailing and requesting a date and time

We will reply within 48 hours confirming your booking and sending you a booking number which you use for payment.

4.Payment

Each session costs £50.00, you can pay by cash/cheque on the day or by credit card on PayPal in which case the session must be paid for in advance.
